2  What is the British in need of at the end of the French and Indian War? And Why?

3  Money- the French and Indian War was expensive. They need to replace the spent money. They expand taxes to everyday items used by everyday citizens.

4 What do the colonists need at the end of the French and Indian War?  Received land so they need to utilize the land- slaves, vacant areas for colonization

5 Taxes imposed by British- putting the plan in effect  Navigation act 1763  Tax on wine and imported goods 1764  Sugar Act (sugar & molasses)  Stamp act  Townshend acts of 1767  Intolerable acts

6 Navigation Act of 1763  Define-  Why is this a problem?

7  - must use British vessels to ship goods  Why is this a problem? Pay British to ship goods 2. British sell items for higher rate – middleman 3. cut out selling to other countries
