25 hours of community service must be completed by the end of JUNIOR year! 150 hours awards students with Distinguished Community Service. Important for college applications. Important for scholarship applications. Students can visit the College & Career Center to find community service opportunities.

Progress Reports: P or NM (2 each semester) Quarter Report Cards: A, B, C, NM (1each semester) Semester Report Cards: A, B, C, NC (1 each semester) 250 Credits Required for Graduation Each course –10 credits per year (courses are year- long) › May earn 80 credits per year › Transcripts Reflect Semester Grades › December and June Repeating Classes › Summer School/Night School NC stays on transcript

Night School (Juniors and Seniors only) Registration takes place the first few weeks of each semester. Applications are picked up and returned in the Counseling Center. Night school courses meet graduation requirements, but do not meet college entrance requirements Summer School (grades 9-11) Summer school registration forms are available in April. Applications are picked up and returned in the Counseling Center. Summer school dates – TBD Courses meet college prep requirements

AP/Honors and Advanced courses are offered in Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Science, Science, Foreign Language and Visual and Performing Arts Require a serious approach to studies with additional time and commitment to homework AP courses may receive college credit or meet college pre-requisites AP test must be taken in order to receive AP credit Attend AP Information Night on March 20th at 6:30 in the WHS Cafeteria for additional information.

ACT with Writing or SAT Reasoning (Critical Reading, Mathematics and Writing) Beginning with the Class of 2012 the two SAT Subject Tests are NO LONGER required for UC admission. Check individual campuses and majors for recommendations for testing.
