Aim To draw upon different national and theoretical perspectives to critically assess the deployment of wind power across EU member states Particular focus on: Denmark, France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden & the UK

Questions for the stream Which policy tools have been most effective in promoting wind power? How important have financial tools been compared to planning and regulatory tools? To what extent has community ownership of wind farms assisted in delivery? In what political, social and economic circumstances have particular policy approaches been (un)successful? What future prospects for the deployment of wind power in Europe?
