3  Language Arts (4.0)  Social Studies (3.0) › World History, US History, Govt/CWI  Math (3.0) › Algebra 1-2, Geometry, another Algebra-based course  Science (2.0) › Physical/Earth Science, Biology  PE (1.5); Health (.5)  Occupational (1.0)  Fine Arts (1.0)  6.0 Electives **Electives may be Algebra Support, world language, etc.**

4  Graduation Reminders: › Pass Reading, Writing, Biology and Math State Tests › Culminating Portfolio and Presentation › 22 total credits for RHS Diploma

5  Requirements above RHS Diploma: › 2 years of World Language › Through Algebra 3-4 for Math › Meet the CADR’s › SAT/ACT

8  2+ years  Diploma required  Undocumented students – Ok, but currently no state or federal financial aid available. 14  5 Branches: › Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marines, Navy  Must have Diploma › GED is not accepted  ASVAB test › This year offered at RHS December 9 (listen for the announcements) › Sign up in counseling center (free!) › May take more than once

15  Work Skills needed: › Timeliness, regular attendance › Able to learn new tasks and perform well › Work well with other people and bosses › Be eager to learn › Willing to accept responsibility  Use of your transcript and/or references

16  Average Weekly Pay › Some high school, no diploma  $471 › High school diploma  $652 › Associate degree  $785 › Bachelor’s degree  $1066 › Master’s, Professional, Doctoral  $1300-$1735 People with a Bachelor’s Degree will earn $22,000 more in each year than those without!
