B.Sc IT Management for Business @ Manchester At Manchester we recognise: the need for a new type of programme that actively involves business –in the curriculum and –in the student learning experience that business is an increasingly global activity and one enabled by ICT Hence we seek to: educate graduates to understand ICT in the context of global business provide a solid grounding in how to apply technology to business situations confidently and effectively develop skills in graduates such that they can manage ICT teams who will ultimately seek to manage a multinational or global ICT facility

Years two and three Year Two: Similar structure to year one i.e. Business, ICT, PPD and Project except: International team project based on a business problem: typically including problem analysis, requirements, design, implementation and documentation More about managing projects; global team working; people, management and change; and career development Year Three: Individual business project Core: IT Architectures; Systems Implementation and Change; Professional Issues and Ethics Options: choice according to individual preferences

B.Sc IT Management for Business Entry requirements –2007 ABB; 2008 AAB or equivalent Industrial Placement Year –Optional between years Two and Three Careers –IT Management –System Designers –IT Consultants –IT Strategy and Planning Application –Through normal UCAS procedures
