Matching Grant # 71641 Description u Supply uniforms, textbooks, writing tools, school library, desks and other classroom equipment. u Equip a school science lab u Provide basic medical clinic - benefit a much wider community of 4 rural villages served by this school u Supply teaching aids and other materials for school staff u furnish a school office u Supply basic sports equipment for students. u Construct 5 new detached latrines in the school grounds, currently only 2 such latrines serving over 400 students. u It will also provide hookups (presently not in place) to the local village water supply for all school latrines.

35. Sustainability of Project u The project will serve to upgrade school infrastructure – one time expenditure. u Existing school staff will maintain the school equipment. u The school will provide the funding to staff and run the first aid/medical clinic.
