PRONAME: General objective A National Program for Environmental Monitoring, Assessment and Management of Persistent Bioaccumulative and Toxic Substances Will generate information to support and improve the creation of environmental policies focused on the identification, assessment, reduction and/or elimination of PBTS from the Mexican environment

PRONAME: Scope oMonitoring in at least: THREE index or references sites not directly impacted by human activities THREE satellite sites impacted by various human activities: mining, industry, agriculture, settlements indigenous and urban PBTS include 12 POPs, metals (As, Cd, Hg, Pb), PAHs, emerging compounds Environmental media and human bio-indicators Air Monitoring Network: goal of 15 monitors across the country, including the six selected sites Include sites for environmental monitoring for dioxins and furans, and mercury.
