Picture Books By nature, Graphic Novels are picture books, so I just went to the library and found some books that would be considered picture books and without text. Books without text are great for students to create their own story, using dialogue and thought shots of their characters. Around The World- John Coy Sardine in Outer Space- Grubert The Animal- Shaun Tan The Arrival- Shaun Tan How to be a Super Villain- Rachel Yu Howls Moving Castle Picture Book-Hayao Miyazaki Robot Dreams- Sara Varon
