4. 1.conduct basic research on the teaching and learning of computational competencies in face-to-face or virtual settings 2.design, develop, test, validate, and refine materials, measurement tools, and methods for teaching in specific contexts; 3.  implement promising small-scale interventions in order to study the efficacy of those interventions with particular groups underrepresented in computing educational and workforce settings.
