A district VIP shall consist of the following: Full-time Virtual Instruction for students in grades K-12 Part-time virtual instruction for students in grades K-12 AP, FCAT-related and EOC courses Full-time or part-time virtual instruction for students in dropout prevention and academic intervention programs, DJJ programs, core courses to meet class size requirements and Florida college courses 3

Districts may: Offer a district-operated program Contract with Florida Virtual School (FLVS) Establish a franchise of FLVS Contract with a Florida College Contract with an approved provider Enter into an agreement with another school district Enter into an agreement with a charter school 4

Imperative to collaborate and share information with Provider to ensure accuracy of data Verify data throughout school year (can use district reports) Use EIAS reports during Surveys 2 and 3 and share with provider Involve providers in Accountability Matching process during Survey 3 Make sure student ID and provider codes are accurate Course numbers should match in Surveys 2, 3, and 4 16
