WORKFORCE AND INNOVATION FOR A STRONGER ECONOMY (WISE) PLAN Proposed bill language: Establishes a NEW FUND in the state treasury Directs state treasurer to deposit funds at beginning of each fiscal year Funds are IN ADDITION TO all other funds allocated to higher ed LA Board of Regents and management boards shall distribute the funds Funds will be monitored by Board of Regents, Higher Ed Systems, LED, and LWC 4
