Business Description We are a small yet talented company destined to create some of the highest grade document scanner technology. Though we are a new company, we are expanding fast. We are producing our product with only 1 small factory and only sell through amazon but We look to expand. Cursive Cursor™ is a Proprietorship as I am the only one running it. As I always say: “The camel is the union’s horse”

Technology involved My brother, Steven Gloyd, and his robotics team came up with the amazing technology known as ‘Scaninologicalzop™’ while trying to find a way to find a way to translate japanese video games. Through several months of perfecting the new product we finished Scaninologicalzop™ v2.6.8 Capable of reading through most languages and even hand written papers. The quality of handwriting that the Scaninologicalzop™ can read is just below readable unless it is cursive. Anything else it can read near perfect.
5
Statistics We have made many tests on the quality of translation that Scaninologicalzop™ can do. I would like to show you the results. %of correct words v1.0 v1.5 v2.0 v2.5 v2.6.5 80% 100% 100% 100% 100% Text 20% 32% 57% 74% 85% Cursive 50% 50% 57% 65% 75% Bad Handwriting 0% 0% 6% 20% 70% Really Dad Handwriting 0% 0% 0% 1% 6% Grandma’s Christmas Card 75% 80% 90% 100% 100% Other Language (English text) 0% 0% 70% 75% 80% Other language (Native Text)

The product The finished product is roughly the size of a shoebox and can read almost anything. To add some extra appeal to it we also integrated multiple USB cords and a printing dock with ink cartridges. Cursive Cursor™ is not only capable of translating languages, But can also auto spellcheck, decode handwriting, And grade papers. You show the Cursive Cursor™ the completed paper and then it will grade any other similar paper that goes in, Its easy to use and will save you lots of time squinting at students tiny handwriting making sure that the answer is, in fact, there somewhere.

Advertisements campaign As far as advertising goes we are staying to magazines and newspapers. We have bought a full page worth of advert room in popular science magazine. We have also bought many smaller advertisement spaces on other magazines and newspapers around the country. This includes mostly college newspapers as they are normally cheaper and gets around to technology loving teenagers.

Financing The Cursive Cursor™ is fairly simple to make an will not cost very much. On average it costs $200 for parts and about $100 to pay the workers. They are selling for $500 each, making a $200 profit. This means that about 40% of all our sales come back as profit. We normally sell about 70 a month which comes to around $14,000 a month. We are still a relatively small company and a big problem that we have been having is that we can't seem to make enough to fill the demand for them. From you, We are looking for a $300,000 investment to help us build a couple small factories to spread around. I figure that the new factories would not only allow us to better match our product’s demand, but also increase demand by being able to sell to cities farther away.

Hope for future Oh, we have some plans for the Cursive Cursor™. We want it to be one of the most practical pieces of office and home equipment since the smart phone. We are already designing the Cursive Cursor mini ™, A handheld version of our main product. It will be smaller, cheaper, and portable. It is going to be designed to scan down a paper and scan along. Then it will save the papers to and flash drive that is inserted on the back. You can insert the flash drive to your computer so you can print it when you have time. After that it is a matter of brainstorming and perfecting the Cursive Cursor’s system.
