This lesson plan will partially address the following Sunshine State Standard for Mathematics K-1:
Benchmark MA.A.1.1.1: The student associates verbal names, written word names, and standard numerals with the whole numbers less than 1000.
Grade Level Expectations (K to First)
The student:
Knows the cardinal numbers to indicate quantity and ordinal numbers to indicate position.
Uses ordinal numbers 1st – 10th or higher
