3. Zonta International Mission: Zonta International (Z.I.) is a worldwide service organization of executives in business and the professions working together to advance the status of women. Vision: Z.I. Envisions a world in which human rights and fundamental freedoms are ensured for all women and the legal, political, economic, educational, health and professional rights of women are not restricted because of gender.

4. Scope of Zonta International Zonta’s world is divided into 30 Districts of which we are District 4. Currently in 67 countries – Madrid, Spain will make it 68 33,000 members 1200 clubs

Goals for 2004-2006 Z.I. will work towards: – Ensuring that women receive basic education and health care –Ensuring that women have access to higher education on equal terms with men –Eradicating all forms of discrimination and violence against women through prevention and through development of innovative approaches to eliminate abuse.

9. Service Z.I. – administered and approved by Z.I. Foundation (chosen by Z.I. President) –Presented at Convention –Suggested that 1/3 of service funds go to Z.I.F.
