How long have you been serving your school community? Who can join? What awards have you received? You are well trained to run your PTA. Be visible at every events What have you achieved for your school and community? EVERYONE !

Who speaks for kids? PTA does and more members means the louder the voice Links to your website, Facebook or other social media. Use the sentence … brought to you by your PTA as much as possible Outreach then ask to join if people like what you are doing. Have stories of why I joined PTA? and what has PTA done for all kids in your school?

Have a range of forms for different groups teacher community and business. PTA - you are part of something bigger Local unit, State and Nation. Join PTA its like buying shares in your school - make that stock go up! Put a sticker “from your PTA” on items you have brought. Publicize your PTA event - make it clear who is putting on the event. Are you a PTA National School of Excellence?

Make sure they join or are aware of the next PTA before they transition out of your school. Have a theme for the year and use it ! Liaise with your feeder PTA’s What have you done to date for your school ?– accumulative totals –money, books, hours of volunteers. Scan the QR code it will take you to the State membership site or photograph this board to jog your memory
