Think Tanks with QR Codes BY: KATHLEEN TAYLOR AND ADRIANA OSBORNE

Today’s Objective: -We will create a QR code to go into a Think Tank.

Scavenger Hunt Take out your I- Pads. Download Google Docs and QR Reader. Open QR reader and scan the QR codes around the room.

-Go to Safari -Type in youtube.com -Then type in the search box Hello Ocean and hit search.youtube.com

-Click on “Hello Ocean” by Sonia Amador

- Go over to the URL box. -Click once to highlight the URL. -Then click one more time. -A black box will appear and you need to copy it.

-Now in the URL box type in safeshare.tv

- Double click the YouTube link box and paste URL. -Then, click on generate a safe link button.

-Click on the button “Take me to the safe view”.

-Click once on the URL to highlight the link. -Then, push the copy button.

-In the URL box type in qrstuff.com -Double click on the website URL and paste your link. -Click on the blue button that says “download qr code”.

-This will take you to your QR Code. - -Double click on the QR code and click save image. -When you do this it saves it to your camera so then you can upload it to your document.

-Click on camera app. -You will find your QR code with your pictures.

-Find your QR reader App. -Scan in the QR code. -This will bring up our think tank template in google docs. -Log in with your Garland ISD login.

-Click on the down arrows at the top and click on use desktop version.

-Click file and rename ocean think tank.

-Type in “Ocean” for the title.

-Type in Hello Ocean in the read section. -Then click insert and image.

-Click choose an image. -Click choose existing.

-Click on camera roll and find your qr code and click on it.

-Finish Think Tank…..
