All rights reserved.17 The 1 st Meeting Introduce membership Provide explanation and purpose Elect a Chairperson (not the CTE Director) and other officers Determine the number of meetings to hold and where, with membership input (do not “over meet”). Four meetings annually is recommended. Determine procedures to develop by-laws Set the next meeting date with membership input Tour the CTE facility

Prepare agendas and assist the instructor in handling meeting details. Preside at meetings. Keep group efforts focused. Delegate tasks and follow-up. Represent the committee at official meetings and functions. Submit recommendations to appropriate groups. Follow-up on committee recommendations.
