Before an earthquake ►-►- ►-►- Sturdy furniture to crawl under, such as a table or desk, so nothing can fall on you ►-►- Drop under something, hold on, and protect your eyes by pressing them against your arm ►-►- Water, battery-operated radio, canned food, change of clothes, medicines, band- aids, etc.

During an earthquake ► DROP, COVER, AND HOLD ON! ► Stay indoors until the shaking stops ► If you are in bed, stay there and protect your head with a pillow ► If you are outdoors, find a clear spot away from buildings, trees, and power lines. Drop to the ground ► If you are in a car, slow down and stay in the car until the shaking stops
