8 UT FAST-A-THON Breaking the Chains of Human Trafficking in Tampa Bay Cosponsored by: Better Together, International Justice Mission, Muslim Student Association, and IPO

9 What is the Fast-A-Thon? 3-week-long campaign Raise money for the Florida Coalition Against Human Trafficking and IJM Ends on March 4 th with a day of fasting and a shared meal in the evening

10 Why? Tampa is one of the top 20 hubs for Human Trafficking in the United States About 20,000 victims are trafficked into the US annually Florida receives a high percentage of these victims

March 6th elections packets due by 5:00PM. March 14th candidates meeting at 10:00PM. (Immediately following this meeting candidates may begin to campaign.) March 24th candidate speeches at GA, 7:00PM. Voting opens at 8:00PM. March 29th voting ends, 11:45PM. March 31st election results released at GA, 7:00PM. (Campaign material must be taken down by the 12:00PM that day). Election Information
