Presentation On Monday, we learned how to add and subtract fractions by finding common denominators and making equivalent fractions. Today, you will learn how to solve problems using multiplication and division of fractions.

We can add and subtract fractions with the same (common) denominator easily. Review: Adding and Subtracting Fractions 3535 + 1515 4545 =

When multiplying and dividing fractions, we do not need to have common denominators. Multiplying and Dividing Fractions 3535 x 1313 = These do not have to be the same!
