Tuition Payment All should have received notes from me for individual tuition charges All should have received invoices from the Greater Starkville Development Partnership Checks should be sent to: Shelby Stevenson GSDP 300 Main Street Starkville, MS 39759

Attendance Attendance at all events is required and expected After two absences, the FORUM Steering Committee will review absences for action Action could include dismissal from the program with no tuition reimbursement

Schedule See insert in notebook

Ground Rules Everyone is expected to participate Everyone has a valid opinion that should be respected by other participants Participants are expected to arrive on time If you are to be absent, let Alan Barefield know as soon as possible Put cell phones on vibrate

Individual Research Projects See insert in notebook

Group Assignments Assignments will be made on August 25 Participants will be divided into groups based on diversity of class and personalities Group assignments are final; no adjustments will be made Conflict is inevitable; use skills learned in class to resolve conflict

Community Issues Each participant is expected to identify 3-4 issues confronting the Starkville- Oktibbeha County Community After group assignments are made, each group will identify 3 issues from the individual sets Issues will be addressed in future classes

Special Needs If you have any special needs regarding the class, please let Alan Barefield or Rachael Carter know as soon as possible Special needs include physical, dietary, accommodation, etc. Every effort will be made to accommodate your needs

Ropes Course Wear closed-toed shoes (no sandals, flip-flops, or heels) Tennis shoes are acceptable Wear light clothing (it will be hot) Water will be provided Insect repellant should be provided; however, you may want to bring your own
