OnDemand Solution= DeFrame+OnDemand Thin-client, self-subscription, and provisioning for Windows-based applications over any bandwidth Eliminates need of administrative involvement from the ASP, Enterprise, or ISV Reduces the time and cost required to take technology from business-concept to business-process
3
What Is DeFrame? A powerful, Novell Directory Services ® (NDS)-based, thin-client application solution Provides NDS ® -enabled Microsoft terminal server applications as “Directory Objects” Support for much of Citrix MetaFrame, and Windows Terminal Server functionality— through NDS eDirectory ™ services
4
Usage Applications are immediately available for use upon sign-on Users’ credentials and access rights are dynamically assigned to subscribers Using a single sign-on, end users securely and silently authenticate to Windows terminal server Performance is optimized as access to applications are load-balanced across servers from single or multiple source locations Cost of service based on usage

OnDemand Services Advantages Use and access applications without deploying them One single user interface for delivery of conventional and server-based thin client applications Single sign-on for Windows-based servers (Terminal, Citrix) Central point for management of Windows Terminal and Citrix servers (eDirectory) No NT domain or Active Directory are needed for Windows Terminal server Allowing Windows Terminal servers and Citrix servers to be one pure self-maintained appliance Thin-client, web-based access One user interface for all applications, including extranet applications (ASP, ISV) Two-dimensional scalable model (load balancing “Server Farms,” eDirectory “Objects”) The Citrix ICA client becomes complementary if needed With the self-maintained Terminal server and dynamic user management, cost savings are enormous
