WHAT ARE ADAPTATIONS ? an adaptation helps animals by letting animals blend in called camouflage. Mimicry helps animals look like another animal: Example monarch butterfly

Migration – means to move from place to place Whooping cranes, artic lemmings,buffalo, whales, sand snipers and many more animals migrate these are just some animals that migrate.

Insulation-doesn’t conduct heat well. Insulation Animals that lack insulation mostly store fat such as blubber or a heavy coat of fur. Example seal.

Instinct-is inherited Inherited-a behavior that’s not learned such as eye color, hair color, and skin color. Instinct This turtle is an example of instinct turtles automatically know to go in there shell if a predator is after it.

Seasonal adaptations are such as gathering food for the winter, hibernation, or burrowing in the ground for winter to sleep. Most animals increase activity during Autumn to prepare for winter. Seasonal adaptations
