5  Consequences › Behavior color chart  A warning is given before moving the clip to yellow (behavior)  Does not complete homework-moves to yellow  Blue-above and beyond (enthusiastically engaged)  Yellow-warning  Orange-teacher/student conference  Red-parent/student/teacher conference  Can not move clip back up

6  Student responsible for writing down his/her homework daily in their agenda book  Materials needed will be in the Homework Folder  Parent/Guardian signature in agenda book every night-will show behavior color for the day › On yellow, orange, red-I will write a note as to why

7  Homework assigned every night › No more than 40 minutes a night (does not include 15 minutes of reading)  Every night… › 15 minutes of self selected reading (signature) › 5 minutes of math facts (signature)  Sometimes…. › Math sheet › Spelling › Cursive › Research › Reading/Math Stations

8  Does not complete homework… › Move their clip › Sit at silent lunch-eat lunch then complete work › If not finished at lunch, will have to do for homework and will have a late consequence

9  If a student is absent… › It is his/hers responsibility to get the work that was missed › Your student will borrow a friend’s materials and write down the notes that were missed › Has 3 days to make up work for every one day absent

10  Powerschool  Grades will be posted online › Weighed-1 Homework, 2 Tests, 3 Quiz/Classwork, 4 Project/Performance Task › Progress Reports will go home to be signed- once every 9 weeks (midterm)  The work will be attached to the progress report and will be sent back for me to keep in a file Report Cards every 9 weeks, sign 1 st report cards-have to come for conference

11  Everyday classwork or homework is late, 10 points will be deducted a day from the grade  No late work will be accepted after Friday of the week the homework/classwork was due › Unless absent (3 days to make up work for being absent for 1 day) If there is no name on a paper, I will deduct 10 points.

12  Return to school side › Important forms/papers to be signed › Homework/classwork assignments  Take home side › Keep at home, seen by an adult Students are responsible for giving me any notes, forms, papers or important items I need to see.

13  Reading-Pull groups on their needs › Not in a group-work independently on reading stations  Skills already taught, use notes, use time wisely Math Stations
