Environmentally Conscious IN OCTOBER 2012, CALFEE WAS AWARDED GOLD CERTIFICATION UNDER LEED VERSION 3, COMMERCIAL INTERIORS. THE PROJECT EARNED 64 POINTS OVER 34 CREDITS.

Environmentally Conscious METRICS AND THRESHOLDS MET Water Savings: 31% Reduction through use of water conserving fixtures Lighting Power: 21% Reduction of Connected Lighting Load Power HVAC: Met and exceeded requirement of efficiency outlined in the Advanced Buildings Core Performance Guide sections 1.4, 2.9, & 3.10. 92% of all installed equipment is Energy Star Rated. Purchase of 50% of the building’s power needs for the next two years from renewable sources. Construction Waste: 98% Diversion Rate. Achieved 17% recycled content threshold on all materials and furniture used on the project. 34% of all project materials and furniture on the project were manufactured and/or extracted within 500 miles of the site.
