Credit earned on completion of this program will be reported to CES Records for AIA members. Certificates of completion for non-AIA members are available on request. Reflect | Revisit | Renew LEARNING OBJECTIVES Using the materials presented in the Educator Coordinator Breakout Workshop 1, the participant will, 1.Reflect on the role of IDP Educator Coordinator, 2.Discuss the implications of collateral recommendations for the NAAB 2008 Accreditation Conference, and 3.Evaluate the AIA Educator Coordinator Position Description and Agreement and develop objectives and outcomes for a contextual IDP education program.

Reflect | Revisit | Renew EDUCATOR COORDINATOR AIA Position Description and Agreement (current) Responsibilities Maintain awareness and understanding of IDP resources and issues. Provide students with information about IDP, internship opportunities and registration requirements.

Reflect | Revisit | Renew EDUCATOR COORDINATOR AIA Position Description and Agreement (current) Minimum Requirements 1.Complete “IDP Boot Camp” training once every three years. 2.Attend the annual Coordinators Conference. 3.Login to IDP Coordinators Portal at a minimum of once a week to receive updates and news from AIA National. 4.Correspond with AIA National once every quarter through the IDP Coordinators Portal portal.

Reflect | Revisit | Renew EDUCATOR COORDINATOR AIA Position Description and Agreement (current) Minimum Requirements 5.Present a plan to AIA National detailing how you intend to inform each student about IDP. 6.Assist students in completing and submitting IDP applications. 7.Meet at least once a year with AIAS leadership at your school. 8.Meet with the State Coordinator twice a year.

Reflect | Revisit | Renew EDUCATOR COORDINATOR AIA Position Description and Agreement (current) Minimum Requirements 9.Meet or communicate with other Educator Coordinators in your state twice a year. 10.Complete any surveys/questionnaires that are sent out by AIA National. 11.Complete and submit the Annual Report Worksheet to AIA National in December of each year.
