3. Common Injuries The list of injuries that commonly occur at greenhouses throughout the country is quite long, and should be no surprise. Here is a partial list: Slips, trips and falls Injuries due to repetitive bending, stooping, overreaching or the repeated use of hands, fingers and wrists for long periods of time Back injuries from improper or heavy lifting Being struck by large pots or other objects improperly stacked on shelves Cuts to fingers or hands Getting fingers, hands or other body parts caught in potting machines, conveyor belts or other equipment
