5 Fourteen Points Speech  Look at p. 699  Wilson suggested  No more secret compromises between countries  Nobody owns the oceans  Reduce guns and weapons in all countries  Colonies will be run fairly and balanced  Create a League of Nations to ensure world peace  The pre-cursor to the United Nations  The U.S. never joined the league--ironic!!  AWWW!! So nice!
