Picture displays the sensor which surveys the 2 filters status: please note that in case of clogged up or too dirty air filters, the MIL lamp will be switched on. Replace air filters, erase the fault memory, and perform “air filter inizialization” in the adjustments page.

ENGINE MANAGEMENT Intake valves low-lift setting (Valvetronic) In normal driving, the "gas pedal" controls the Valvetronic hardware rather than the throttle plate (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valvetronic). This function allows setting the low-lift value, that can be fixed to 0,3mm or 0,8mm. Please note, choosing 0,8mm could cause the following effects: it can improve idle quality it can increase fuel consumption it can reduce torque, accelerating hard it can reduce torque, in some engine load conditions

Should the procedure be necessary, please proceed in this way: 1.Vehicle must be stopped 2.Time involved: 16 minutes approx 3.During this time, engine will run at high RPMs 4.Please be careful: the exausts extraction pipes must be resistant to HIGH TEMPERATURES ! Company Confidential AUTODIAGNOSTIC JULY 2008 Special Procedures FORD MONDEO 07 ABS/ESP Steering wheel sensor calibration GIRI MOTORE Through this procedure, it’s possible to calibrate the mentioned sensor, and it must be done each time in case of sensor replacement, wheel alignment or any intervention on the Directional Tread. To do it, please carry out the following steps: 1.the steering wheel and steering system must be set in its center position (the steering wheel is in its center position and the front wheels are pointing straight ahead) 2.Now run the procedure 3.The tool will ask to center the steering wheel, then to move it 10° approx. to both sides Once completed, the sensor calibration is stored.

Run it and wait for the message: “procedure completed”. If procedure is not necessary, a related message will be shown by the tool.

Through this function a bleeding strategy will be run the first time the cranking will be attempted (using the integrated low pressure pump). Procedure: Run the function Leave the diagnostic communication Ignition off, then wait for immobilizer warning light ON Ask for engine cranking ( by key or button ) and wait for the effective cranking, that will be executed after 20 seconds approx.
