Climate.. All deserts in North America are different and have different temperatures and climates. From July to mid-September, the summer brings surges of wet tropical air and frequent violent thunderstorms...

Australian Climate.. All deserts in Australia are characterized by a lot of heat during the day. But they are followed by very cold nights. Australian deserts barely have any rainfall most is a complete drought.

Best Time for Travel.. In most cases, spring and fall are the best times to visit the desert. In the Mojave desert temperatures can be very cold in the winter and consistently 100 °F or even much higher in the summer and early fall.In the late winter and early spring strong winds are frequent.

Animals The animals include small carnivores . The dominant animals are burrowers and kangaroo rats. There are also a variety of insects, arachnids, reptiles and birds.

Plants . Shrubs are the dominant growth form in the deserts. any trees be evergreen or deciduous; typically have small leaves; and frequently have spines or thorns and/or aromatic oils.

North American Desert Geo.. One of the major North American deserts is The Great Basin. It the largest out of all the deserts in this region. It includes valleys, basins, lakes, and many mountain ranges.
