Excellent organisational performance Foster innovation and leadership Strive for and apply best practice Seek and share knowledge and information Build and maintain beneficial relationships with key stakeholders Housing affordability targets are in place and we are working with stakeholders to deliver them People and communities have access to the housing, infrastructure and services they need to work, live and raise families. Specific population groups and priority places are receiving support and are increasingly self-sustaining. Development is coordinated with transport and other infrastructure priorities Integrated planning is contributing to Victoria’s liveability, competitiveness and economic prosperity. Urban development, heritage, land management and supply strategies are in place for the short, medium and long term Joint strategies are developed with local governments, business and community groups and informed by research and evidence It is easier for business to work with government due to reduced regulatory and administrative burdens DPCD attracts and retains high quality and diverse people Our work practices are environmentally responsible, effective and continually improving Integrated policy and programs across government and internally are achieved through collaboration Stakeholder relationships are strong and provide benefits to communities and stakeholders Go For Your Life!Future Directions: An Action Agenda for Young Victorians Increased opportunities for participation Increase sport & recreation, civic, cultural and voluntary participation opportunities Improve opportunities and capacity for people and communities to have a say in decisions and directions that affect their lives Support and develop strong and sustainable community networks, organisations and local governance.
