18. NOTESNOTES  Ephraim is one of the son’s of Joseph in the Old Testament, the other being Manasseh  God chose Levi to be his tribe (priestly tribe) therefore they did not receive a land lot. But received cities in the mist of the other tribes.  Since God chose them out, they were down to eleven tribes, so God split the tribe of Joseph in to 2 groups. Based on his son’s  So why did one son get into both list but not the other?
