2. 14 Years ago the Department of curriculum and Instructional development had revised the curriculum to focused on. preparing active citizens

3. To change view of teaching and learning from passive listening

5. The same period, there was the movement of environmental problems that leaded to the request for Ministry of Education to improve environmental education in school learning

6. SFEP Pilot project encouraged teachers and Villagers in seven schools in Lamphun and Chengrai province

7. The project respect to teachers and villagers views of community participation in the Teaching-learning process and of the kind of Knowledge that is importan for youth to learn.
