3 Annual Revenue -Safeco Field holds 47,116 people -The non club seats hold 45,611 people, the average ticket price for these seats is $34.25 -The club seats averages at $380 and there are 1,380 seats available. -Therefore, the total Revenue for a sold out game=$2.3 million -However the mariners rarely sell out, there average game attendance is half of their max. capacity. So $2.3 million/2 = $1.1million -81 home games a season x 1.1 (average revenue) = $92 million a year

4 Conclusion - The annual salary of players on Mariners MLB roster is $73.5 million. - The annual ticket sales=$92 million. -The Mariners make $18.5 million a year.

5 Factors That Would Effect a Business Positives -Resources going down in price. -High demand in your product. -Lowering of taxes means more profit. -Few rivals for consumers‘ to choose from Negatives -Economic downturn -Little demand for product -Lots of competitors -Little profit- due to lack of sales and overpaid employees.

6 How A Sports Team Loses Money -High salary cap on a losing team, which means low ticket sales, which therefore means that the ownership is paying out of their own pocket. -If salary is higher then revenue and sponsorship, the team will lose money. -Low ticket sales, bad teams, and a sports team in the wrong market, will evidently lose money, due to no cash flow coming in.
