PARTICIPATING GREEN COMMUNITIES Toronto GreenSaver Windfall Ecology Centre – York Region Hamilton Green Venture Elora Centre for Environmental Excellence Waterloo Region Green Solutions Kingston’s Hearthmakers Energy Cooperative EcoSuperior – Thunder Bay Peterborough Green Up Lanark and Leeds Green Community Next steps Big marketing push needed in next month (referrals welcome!) More targeted marketing needed – Finding electrically heated low income houses where occupants pay the bill a challenge so far Improved market coverage needed – We cannot serve social housing, although many contact us – the program available to them is less comprehensive – Small gas LDC budgets for low income should be integrated with OPA program so families can apply and get service regardless of fuel source – Provincial funds needed to serve those few on other fuels (oil, wood, propane)
