3 MISSION To promote the free exercise of religion through the development and maintenance of spiritual fitness for all soldiers in this command.

7 WHAT IS A “UMT”? A UMT (UNIT MINISTRY TEAM) CONSISTS OF AT LEAST ONE CHAPLAIN (MOS 56A) AND ONE CHAPLAIN ASSISTANT (MOS 56M) ASSIGNED TO A TDA OR TOE UNIT. (AR 165-1)
