$7,750,000 of NAHTF will be available within Annual Cycle. $2,000,000 of CDBG funds will be available in the CDBG Cycle. $360,000 of the NAHP allocation will be available for Non- Profit Operating Assistance. Any funds not utilized for Non-Profit Operating Assistance will be reallocated within Annual Cycle Pool. 2

The regulatory requirement to award at least 15% of the HOME allocation to CHDOs for CHDO-eligible activities. $450,000 of CHDO funds will be available in the CHDO Cycle. 4

Failure of the Application to meet all of the threshold requirements (Scoring 45 points within the Pre- Application & Threshold Questions Sections) will result in the Application not being funded during the NAHP Cycles. In addition, within the Annual & CDBG Cycles failure of the Applicant to score at least 130 total points on the final application will result in the Application not being funded during the NAHP Cycles. 16

Additionally, within the Non-Profit Operating Pool, failure of the Applicant to score at least 50% of the total points on the final application will result in the Application not being funded during the NAHP Cycle. Altering the Application questions in any way will automatically disqualify the application and result in the Applicant not being funded. 17

Demolition can be included with any eligible activity and it doesn’t have to be on the same site with the other activity. For CDBG OOR projects, ONLY local units of government classified as a municipality (i.e. City or Village) are eligible to apply. No county wide project. 18

The Citizen Participation Plan is a required by HUD and it is a threshold item for the CDBG full applications. It is highly encouraged to submit the Citizen Participation Plan with the Pre-App. 19
