CV vs Resume Resume = “summing up” –Only 1-2 pages –Focuses on job experience/skills CV = curriculum vitae = “course of life” –Focuses on education, publications, experience –Longer than a resume but be brief

Education Reverse chronological order Do not necessarily need to include ALL education –Higher education most important

Experience Reverse chronological order Separate Research Experience and Laboratory Techniques into two separate sections
