4 St. Francis Prayer Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace
Where there is hatred, let me sow love; Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is doubt, faith; Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light; Where there is sadness, joy. O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek To be consoled as to console’ To be Understood as to understand; To be loved as to love For it is in giving that we receive It is in the pardoning that we are pardoned It is in dying to self that we are born to eternal life.

5 We have what we seek. It is there all the time, and if we give it time, it will make itself known to us. Thomas Merton

It cannot shatter hope, It cannot corrode faith, It cannot destroy peace, It cannot kill friendship It cannot suppress memories, It cannot silence courage, It cannot invade the soul, It cannot steal eternal life, It cannot conquer the SPIRIT. Author Unknown

The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science. Albert Einstein

9 William Ellery Channing
There are seasons, in human affairs, of inward and outward revelation, when new depths seem to be broken up in the soul, when new wants are unfolded in multitudes, and a new and undefined good is thirsted for. There are periods when… to dare, is the highest wisdom. William Ellery Channing

10 The day will come when, after harnessing the winds, the tides and gravitation, we shall harness the energies of love. And on that day, for the second time in the history of the world, we will have discovered fire. Teilhard de Chardin

21 Just as the ocean waves, and the sun has rays, so the mind’s own radiance is its thoughts and emotions. The ocean has waves, yot the ocean is not particularly disturbed by them. The waves are the very nature of the ocean. Waves will rise, but where do they go? Back to the ocean. And where do the waves come from? The ocean. Sogyal R.

22 Time past and time future allow but a little consciousness
Time past and time future allow but a little consciousness. To be conscious is not to be in time. TS Elliott

24 Man has no body distinct from his soul.
William Blake

25 Elisabeth Kubler-Ross
If we make our goal to live a life of compassion and unconditional love, then the world will indeed become a garden where all kinds of flowers can bloom and grow. Elisabeth Kubler-Ross

26 Anything we do with a whole heart can be a prayer"
(David Steinal-Rast).

27 Be patient to all that is unsolved in your heart,
And try to love the questions themselves. Do not seek the answers that cannot be given you, Because the point is to live everything, Live the questions now. Perhaps you will gradually without noticing it, Live along some distant day into the answers. We, who squander our sorrows, How we look beyond them into the mournful passage of time To see whether they might end. But they are seasons of us, yes, our winter— Abiding leafage, meadows, ponds, landscapes we are born into, Inhabited by birds and creatures in the reeds.

28 True health is the strength to live, the strength to suffer and the strength to die Health is not a condition of my body it is the power of my soul to cope with the varying condition of that body Jurgen Moltman

29 A human being is part of a whole called by us the universe, a part limited in time and space, he experiences himself his thoughts and feelings as something seperated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prism for us restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a very few persons nearest us Our task must be to free ourselves from this prism by widening our circles of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of Nature In its beauty. Albert Einstein

30 Song of Pain and Joy What is this pain in my heart – it is you
What is this joy in my heart – it is you too What is this sadness, What is this gladness It is you, you are one and not two (repeat over and over)

32 Spirituality is inclusive
Spirituality is inclusive. It is the deepest sense of belonging and participation. We all participate in the spiritual at all times, whether we know it or not. There’s no place to go to be seperated from the spirituallll “themost important thing is defining spirit is the recognition that spirit is an essential need of human nature. There is something in all of us that seeks the spiritual. This yearning varies in strength from person to person but it is always there in everyone. And so healing becomes possible. Rachel remen.
