The Sortie Cycle 1.Label a slippery, put it in the red binder. 2.Add the 104 & assignment, release sortie. 3.Add message slips, Post-Its, everything else. 4.Debrief, add 104a or 104b, other info. 5.Move slippery to gray binder.

Handling The Tasking Sheets “Bernie’s System*” Have only one copy of each sheet. Keep all tasks together as “available.” Move a sheet to sortie slippery as they are assigned. (SAREX) Move briefing sheet back to “available” after debrief. Identify SAREX scenarios as A, B, C … and not with numbers that could be confused with sortie numbers. * Thanks, Bernie Knutson!
