There are 3 third-level hospitals(and other 3 hospitals are building now),6 second-level polyclinics, 4 special hospitals, and 29 community hospitals, about 500 health points and clinics in PuDong New Area. More than 10 professional public health organization. 1 emergent care center, with 3 emergent care point. Situation about served resident: registered permanent resident 1.87 million ， include 80% have social medical insurance. GDP $12,000/per person,Total resident 3.07million (1.43 beds per 1000 people)

5. Basic Situation Information situation general ： Health Information Data Center has been constructed. It is provided with services such as storage, backup, security, information sharing & exchange. 53 core hospitals & healthcare providers connect to data center with 10Mbps fiber, others connect with Data Center with SSL-VPN. Software application include Public Health Information System, public service system, all-in-one healthcare service system. These applications have GIS support for emergency response

Basic Situation All levels situation Polyclinic ： 3 level hospitals have Information Systems, which includes HIS, CIS, LIS, RIS, PACS, etc; 2 level hospitals have also basically constructed the above Information Systems; community hospitals has HIS, part of them have RIS 、 LIS ， a few of them have CIS. Family Health Record System has been constructed.
