Why are all tests scheduled at the same time and on the same day at all venues? To prevent cheating To maintain efficiency Why aren’t students allowed to start the exam after 10am (first shift) and 2pm (second shift)? To prevent cheating To facilitate a timely closing of the test for staff, proctors, site supervisors, and CEPA staff

All Communication with NAPO / CEPA Informing Staff of Schedules and Responsibilities Training Staff for Registration, Help Desk, Proctoring, Authentication, etc. Preparation for Administration Monitoring all staff on exam day Packing and safe return of materials If any of these items is delegated to another employee, the Site Supervisor is in charge of checking to see that the work has been done correctly.

1.Revise and confirm seating capacity. 2.Assign seat numbers to rooms. (This can change up until test day if rooms become unavailable!) 3. Create signage to direct students to appropriate rooms. Room 106 B Seats 41-60

Each proctor will receive an exam pack. What does it include? 20 Answer Sheets 20 Test Booklets Sign-In Sheet Assessment Irregularity Form Misconduct Form (Red and Yellow Cards) (Help Sign) Pencils All exams must be returned to CEPA in complete packs, including unused materials. Unused booklets should remain sealed.

What should be done if a parent or student contacts you concerning a special needs candidate? Contact Ryan. Is it okay to read the exam to blind students? No. Call Ryan. Where should A3 booklet users write their answers? In the booklet If a student has a broken arm, can someone else write his essay? No. Call Ryan.

No ID? No Exam. NO EXCEPTIONS. The Help Desk staff should fill out a Deferred Students’ form.

Do not use until you have called Ryan Gjovig Check and double check ID For CBT, ensure that the Authenticator knows to put the student’s name and ID in the comments field. For PBT, check and double check that name (English) and ID are in pencil.

Everyone working on CEPA Saturdays must be compensated for their work. This includes site supervisors, proctors, IT staff, security guards, cleaning staff, etc. CEPA recommends that institutions pay overtime rates for all weekend hours worked. Institutions make decisions regarding compensation and all compensation comes from their budgets. What happens here?
