EQ: How did humans live during the Paleolithic Age?
Do Now: On your handout, in the space provided, make a list of images that come to mind when you hear the word “Stone Age.”

The Paleolithic Age (3.5 million years ago – 8000 B.C)
So Easy a Caveman Can do it!! Pre-history - The period of time before civilization, before people begin settling down and farming. Also known as The Old Stone Age.

The First Humans The First Humans are related to Cro Magnon Man, our earliest known ancestor who lived as early as 50,000 years ago. Our ancestors are these guys, Cro Magnons Not these guys, Neanderthals

The First Humans Evidence suggests that the earliest humans originated in East Africa (Rift Valley), and migrated northward into Europe, outward into Asia and eventually to North and South America.
