Site preparation which will involve: Civil works, Electrical installations Fixed Cable Installation (Fibre, Copper Cabling) Enhancement Features Provision (Wireless, Voice, Video, Security) WAN / Internet Connectivity Capacity building Security features Monitoring and evaluation

OBJECTIVES The Hospital ICT Strategy and implementation has the overall objective of establishing a strong ICT infrastructure to support hospital operations by providing the means to capture, transmit, store and retrieve information in an accurate and timely manner, thereby enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency in providing evidence based healthcare, training and research

6. Communication network infrastructure The foundation for the ICT applications and services which will support the hospital processes like patient care, medical records and administrative functions. Installing, upgrading the current manual system to the desired automated system
