LexisNexis – On-Line ID Proofing for Lenders Lender employees must have Level 2 eAuthentication accounts to access various Guaranteed Loan System web pages via the USDA Lender Interactive Network Connection (USDA LINC) Level 2 eAuthentication requires ID proofing On May 26, 2015, a “LexisNexis – ID Proofing” link was added to the home page of USDA LINC The link will take lender employees to a one page instruction on how to obtain a Level 2 account and provide a link for on-line ID proofing

LexisNexis – On-Line ID Proofing for Lenders On-line ID proofing requires lender employees to correctly answer a series of multiple choice questions that only the individual could know the answers to These questions are generated by LexisNexis and come from public records all over the U.S. If the lender employee cannot answer the questions correctly then they will need to physically visit a Local Registration Authority (LRA) to be ID proofed

LexisNexis – ID Proofing USDA eAuthentication is the web site USDA customers use to create a Level 2 account to access secure USDA web applications and services such as the Guaranteed Loan System web pages via the USDA Lender Interactive Network Connection (USDA LINC). How do I create a Level 2 eAuthentication account? If you do not have an eAuthentication account: Go to www.eauth.usda.govwww.eauth.usda.gov Click Create an account in the Quick Links section Click Register for a Level 2 Account Enter the requested information and press Continue If the information is correct, press Submit If you need to upgrade an existing Level 1 eAuthentication account to Level 2: Go to www.eauth.usda.govwww.eauth.usda.gov Click Create an account in the Quick Links section Click Log into Your Profile Log into your eAuthentication account using your existing User ID and password Enter the requested information and press Continue If the information is correct, press Submit When the information you submitted is accepted, you’ll be sent an automated activation email. You must activate the account using the link in that email. Both the eAuthentication system and the email sent by the system will direct you to visit a Local Registration Authority (LRA) to prove your identity. You may physically visit a LRA or you may verify your identity on-line by correctly answering a series of multiple choice questions that only you could know the answers to.
