20. The beginning.  Microsoft was founded by Bill Gates and Paul Allen.  Microsoft was established on April the 4th, 1975 to develop and sell BASIC interpreters for the Altair 8800.  Microsoft moved its headquarters to Redmond(Washington, USA) on February 26, 1986

The early years  Microsoft released Microsoft Windows, a graphical extension for MS-DOS, on November 20 1984, While jointly developing a new OS with IBM  On March 13 1986 the company went public.  The ensuing rise in the stock made an estimated four billionaires and 12,000 millionaires from Microsoft employees  Microsoft introduced Microsoft Office, in 1990.  On May 22 1990 Microsoft launched Windows 3.0.
