What to expect to hear about my section? My section is about bulimia, it talks about how it effects people and what to look out for. How to seek for help. How much harm it can do to your system.

Main Idea: I think the most important part of my section is that its mostly hitting teenage girls and how it crushes there life day by day little by little.

Details: This is an eating disorder. Once again it is mostly among young females. Its when you eat a lot (more than usual) then, you go and throw it back out. While your doing that it is killing many acids in your stomach which is not a good sign. You start feeling all light headed and before you know it, it becomes an addiction to the point were you system automatically requires it. Young people usually find out there bulimic and they carry it out with them all the way to there adult hood. You most likely throw up after every meal, you start loosing weight dramatically, and too much use of exercise. Consuming a large amount of food in a very short time period. Being able to control the amount of food consumed and stop eating. This is helpful to see what to look at for and know what to expect.

Jessica's Story: this is a short sum up of a girl who suffered from bulimia. Her name was Jessica, she was about 14 years old, 5 feet talk and weight about 114 pound. She would be constantly eating but yet repeatedly throwing up after every meal. She would rarely tell people about the way she felt and how to deal with it. She wouldn’t believe in herself as succeeding and doing a good job. As she grew older her mom always tried seeking help for her but she would neglect the help and said always she wouldn’t need it that it would just harm her. She would always just stick around in her room but when she had different emotions depending her mood she would go out and stuff herself with all sorts of food and just like always she would go and throw up. This was constantly until she was about 19 when she went to the doctors and they told her she was loosing to much stomach acid. This was actually for the first time scaring her so she and her mom went out to seek for help. Up to now she yet is still in this organization where it is helping her success.

What you should keep in mind. I think this is a sad topic but unfortunately it happens to a lot of teenage girls and follows till’ there older ages. I think that you shouldn’t vomit just to try to get “ skinny”. Seek help if you are feeling the symptoms or if they correspond to you. Talk to your friends to get those things out of your mind.
