TuneUp Utilities is 100% compatible to my needs and the needs of my clients, and in fact I recommend TuneUp Utilities to all my clients.

7 Nikos: This is the best tune up program ever made if you want your computer to run at its peak without having to pay the other guy. This is a must have and this program doesn’t deserve 5 stars, it deserves 6!

And click OK to open the System Configuration Utility. Click the Startup tab, and you'll see a list of all your start-up programs (or known as auto loading programs), each with a check box. Uncheck an item, and it will no longer load at startup.
