2. 2 Resource Registration Process and Schedule Final RARF forms sent during week of April 7 –New Resources should get blank form from Account Manager (available early next week) Official submittal of RARF to ERCOT via TML Service Request (SR) –TYPE: MP Registration –SUBTYPE: Resource/Asset Registration –Requires Digital Certificate with role of “Create Service Request” Any changes/updates to RARF from this time on must be submitted through the SR process ERCOT Review –Initial review prior to database load –Review by ERCOT departments prior to RARF being “active” to populate Nodal systems One-on-one sessions available –Send request to NodalMarketTransition@ercot.comNodalMarketTransition@ercot.com Official submittal due to ERCOT –By May 1, 2008 for all active or mothballed Resources –Parallel Zonal registration for new or repowered Resources

4. 4 Resource Registration RARF Guide and Glossary are available on Nodal Readiness Center Registration and Qualification Documents webpage Map and hyperlinks to navigate through the form –Laid out by topic All areas need to be complete as accurately as possible Transformer names need to match current model –Found in the ERCOT Branch Data file from Operations and System Planning Website –Ensure unit mnemonics are associated with the proper transformer Planning data requests regarding PSSE model data will be answered –Data extracted from planning model will be sent –RARF requires Y/N answers –Missing model information is required Additional information can be found in the presentations from the workshops

9. 9 Resource Registration QnA Can the RARF be submitted by my QSE? –The RARF must be submitted by someone with a digital certificate for the Resource Entity. I do not have a digital certificate. What do I do? –Contact the User Security Administrator (USA) for the Resource Entity The USA is an employee/contact of the Resource Entity and not an ERCOT employee –Getting a new digital certificate from the RE USA may take a day –Getting role of “create service request” added to an existing certificate should take just minutes Others?
