Downloading PureEdge Viewer

Adobe Forms Grants.gov is converting its Pure Edge to Adobe Estimated date of completion is April 1 st, 2007 CSREES will continue to post packages in Pure Edge until new forms are available.

PureEdge Viewer To operate PureEdge Viewer, your computer must meet the following system requirements: – Windows 98, ME, NT 4.0, 2000, XP – 500 MHz processor – 128 MB of RAM – 40 MB disk space – Web browser: Internet Explorer 5.01 or higher, Netscape Communicator 4.5 - 4.8, Netscape 6.1, 6.2 or 7.

PureEdge Viewer Citrix server for non-windows – For non-Windows users, a free Citrix server is available to remotely launch a Windows session and submit completed grant applications. PureEdge Viewer for Macintosh – For Macintosh users, a pre-release version of the IBM Workplace Forms Viewer for the Macintosh has been made available by IBM.

PureEdge Viewer PDF Conversion Programs – For CSREES applications ALL attachments must be in Portable Document Format (PDF).

Submitting a Completed Package

1.All forms have been moved to the completed window 2.Check Package for Errors has found no further errors 3.Save and then submit button becomes activated 4.Applicant clicks on Submit button.

1.Applicant’s web browser opens to Grants.gov 2.Applicant is prompted to Log in. Applicant enters username and password and clicks on Login button.

After logging in, applicant will be prompted to Sign and Submit Application.

1.If successful, applicant will receive message in their web browser. 2.Grants.gov Tracking Number is displayed.

Applicant will receive email notification of receipt of application by Grants.gov and is being validated by Grants.gov

Applicant will receive email notification that application has been validated by Grants.gov and is being made available to the agency to which it was submitted.

Applicant will receive email notification that application has been passed to Grants USDA (GIM).

Example of email notification of application error notice. This means application was NOT accepted by Grants.gov and thus not received by agency. Applicant must submit again.

Tracking your Application

Applicant enters their Grants.gov Username and password and click once on the Login button.

The DUNS# must match the number on the SF424 R&R (cover page) of the application The AOR Status should indicate Approved. If not, the applicant should contact Grants.gov
